SOME SOURCES OF HELP FOR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Below are listed some sources that you might find helpful if you work with Christian
education in your church.  They are all free and are available on the internet.  If you don’t have
computers and could help you are the public library and local colleges.

•        www.pbysouthla.org:  list of resources in the Trinity library at the Presbytery office
•        www.io.com/~/cowper/resources:  Old and New Testament stories, memory verses,
coloring pages, crafts, cut-out sheets, drama, snack and other activities, devotions
•        www.ebibleteacher.com/children/:  Old and New Testament lessons, activities, games,
songs, Bible teaching cards, flipchart graphics
•        www.children.calvarychapel.com/site/curriculum:  Old and New Testament lessons,
(total of 325 lessons), coloring pages, memory verses, quizzes, word puzzles
•        www.ilovewavs.com and www.livingthenaturalway.com: sources of children’s hymns
and songs
•        www.biblestudytools.net :  source for the teacher;  parallel Bible translations
•        www.tgm.org/bible :  source for the teacher; Strong’s Concordance with Greek and
Hebrew

Of course, you will need to examine all these materials carefully in the light of the needs of
your particular students, curriculum, church situation, etc.  One size definitely does NOT fit all
in planning for Christian education!  Take what you can use from these sources and leave the
rest behind.  There are many other sources besides the ones listed; if you have found some
that are particularly helpful, please let me know.
