    Dear Fellow Servant in PSL,

    Something exciting is about to happen!  “PSL Squared” is coming to South Louisiana!

    Get the word out to your elders and congregation—you don’t want them to miss out on
    this joyful time of inspiration, fellowship, and equipping for ministry.  

    This is how you can promote “PSL Squared” in your church:
    1.        Mark the dates of Fri. Oct.10 and Sat. Oct. 11, 2008 on your calendar and make a
    commitment to attend.  Your personal example is more powerful than words.
    2.        Docket time on your next Session agenda to talk about PSL Squared.  Ask each
    Session member to commit to attend a particular workshop or ministry team meeting,
    so that your church is represented by someone at every one of them.  Ask them to
    make a report summarizing what they learn.
    3.        Use bulletin board space, “sharing times” in worship, worship bulletin blurbs, and
    newsletter articles to make sure that everyone is made aware of this event.  
    Remember, everyone is invited to the Saturday conference.  Hearing Jack Haberer will
    be a treat for all!
    4.        Make a list of members you believe would especially benefit from PSL Squared
    (such as “resting elders” not currently on Session, youth leaders, Sunday School
    teachers, etc.) and send them a personal letter urging them to come.
    5.        Put “PSL Squared” on all the prayer-lists at your church.  Prayer is the “solid-
    rock” foundation for all we do.

    Our theme verse for PSL Squared is this simple, but mighty, promise of the Lord Jesus
    to his disciples:  “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I also” (Matt.
    18:20).  We know the Holy Spirit will be a presence at PSL Squared 2008:  we hope you
    will be too!
