A Note of Gratitude for Sharon Fortin
At the end of this year, Sharon Fortin will conclude her three-year term as Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of South Louisiana. Until her final day with PSL, we will express our immense gratitude for her leadership in a role that hems the ministries of our Presbytery life together.

From the safekeeping of our rolls, records, and history, to walking alongside sessions and clerks and organizing Presbytery meetings and serving as our parliamentarian, Sharon’s wisdom and diligence have been a gift to this body, enabling our congregations and shared ministries to join Christ in the world.
We have to acknowledge how Sharon often exceeded the expectations and responsibilities of a Stated Clerk position, which she has done out of her deep sense of care for the people and purpose of this Presbytery. For her steadfast service, humor, and collegiality, we cannot say thank you enough.
We will recognize Sharon’s leadership at the November 10th Stated Meeting of the Presbytery. Please join us in wishing Sharon and her husband, Mike, all the best as they transition to the next chapter of their lives, tending their Michigan farmland.
The PSL Leadership Search Team has launched its search to fill the Stated Clerk position and will provide regular updates to the Presbytery.
