A Service of Lament, Thanksgiving, and Healing
St. Charles Ave. Presbyterian Church, 1545 State St., NOLA

We invite you to join us for worship on August 29 as we remember and lament what was lost and we give thanks to God for the ways we have been cared for and carried through this tragedy. We will honor those who were lost, those who came to help, and those who, with resilience and strength, came back and rebuilt this community.

Sharing our Stories of Remembrance and Hope
As you enter the sanctuary off St. Charles Ave, there will be two bulletin boards. We invite those who wish to share stories, memories, feelings, photos, tokens, etc. of things, people, and places that were lost as well as those things and memories that brought you hope in the midst of the recovery, by posting them to the boards. You may hand write your stories or submit them via email to sarah@scapc.org who will print them off and add them to the display. As you leave your story please take with you a stone with the word “Hope” written on it, as a physical prayer to remind us that we take hope with us on this continued journey of healing and rebuilding.
