Volunteer Opportunity

Support a New Worshiping Community in the Presbytery by volunteering to serve as Treasurer of Be Well-Come Together.

Be Well-Come Together is a community of faith and hope that supports spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being. It is a nonprofit with 501(c)3 standing and was organized by Faith Presbyterian Church in Harvey, LA, where it serves the surrounding community. 

The Treasurer does not need to travel to Harvey, LA for meetings, as the Board holds hybrid meetings by Zoom. The Treasurer spends 2-3 hrs a month fulfilling responsibilities that include: recording 10-15 transactions each month in Quicken, providing and interpreting monthly financial statements to the Board, preparing monthly payroll transactions (1 employee) through digital authorizations each month, and preparing simple tax filings.
