PSL Small Church Emergency Grant Available

Did you know that the Presbytery of South Louisiana offers a Small Church Emergency Grant to assist congregations facing unexpected emergencies? Through this program, eligible churches may apply for grants of up to $5,000 to help address major emergencies or catastrophic events that could not have been anticipated, budgeted for, or insured against.
The application process is intentionally simple and designed to make it easy for congregations to request assistance when they need it most. Churches simply complete a short application and provide basic supporting documentation related to the emergency and church eligibility requirements. (Generally, eligible churches are those with fewer than 75 members, annual budgets of $100,000 or less, and limited reserves.)
